Our customer is a leading financial services company dedicated to providing innovative and reliable funding solutions. They are looking for a Business Development/relationship manager to join the team to help them grow their customer base and broker network.
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be primarily responsible for driving business growth, through maintaining exiting relationships, including fostering new relationships and partnerships with both finance brokers and other 3rd parties.
Responsibilities:
- Creating development plans, sales targets and forecast projections as part of an overall growth strategy in consultation with senior management
- The growth strategy should focus both on the financial impact and overall customer satisfaction
- Create and coordinate with colleagues to develop sales and marketing material including strategies
- Identifying market opportunities through attending networking events, research (local and international industry trends) including meetings with finance brokers, both existing and new
- Cultivating a detailed understanding of the business’ products and value proposition
- Report to senior management on business strengths and areas of improvement
- Responsibility for sales meetings and processes
- Production of sales reporting for senior management
- Preparing / writing of business proposals
- Recruitment and development of sales staff / sales team
You would need to be an experienced BDM owning the following skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a service or sales role in the Banking or Financial sector

- Teamwork and leadership skills and a customer-oriented mindset

- Experience in sales or customer service is preferred
