Business Development Manager - Transport
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will work closely with the sales, operations and head office teams to ensure that Bishops Transport continues to partner up with customers looking for world class service at a fair price. Bishops Transport has been through significant change over the last 5 years, and we are looking for smart, ambitious, hard working people to join our team as we continue to grow and develop over the next 5 years and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue major account opportunities for Bishops Transport to service.
- Develop and present detailed proposals and service offerings to potential customers.
- Manage existing major accounts looking for scope growth and assisting with high service delivery.
- Own and administer a Pipeline with focus to a consistent and methodical contact cycle.
- Reporting to the State Sales Manager you will contribute significantly to driving revenue and volume growth aligned to the business's strategy and operational capabilities.
- Build, maintain and leverage relationships of trust, understanding and integrity.
Required experience include:
- Extensive experience in sales management across logistics, freight, transport or any B2B product line
- High-level knowledge of operational systems and logistics functions.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Contract negotiation and tender management
