Doltone House venues & catering collection is a leader in the EVENTS industry across NSW, with 8 iconic venues each with multiple event spaces with fully purposed onsite catering.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team.
The role will work closely with the sales, venue and event coordination teams to achieve the sales goals.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Proactively contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Achieve sales revenue targets as assigned by developing a revenue pipeline consisting of new sales opportunities.
- Identify and action sales opportunities for all venues with regional venues as the primary focus active cross-selling of all Doltone House properties.
- Develop and agree with Head of Sales (and with venue manager input) a sales plan to, achieve the sales budget and promote DH as the venue & catering partner for organisations in the territory.
- Ensure that the ‘sales process’ and KPI’s including activities are followed and achieved as outlined in the sales plan.
- Propose new localised sales and marketing strategies to generate new business and growth from existing clients.
- Conduct Venue site visits as & when required or to assist other team members for needs in regional venues.
Your skills:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in event sales / sales management (preferably across a multi-site event business or multiple hospitality business outlets)
- Experience of working with sales targets, budgets, client proposals and contracts.
- Sound computer skills including MS Office and using a CRM system.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Own car and drivers license
