As a Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in generating initial and ongoing revenue by engaging the broker community, acquiring new insurance intermediaries, and fostering strategic partnerships. Your role will be pivotal in positioning our client as a trusted partner, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

What will you be doing?
- Achieve or exceed agreed targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Securing new profitable, business opportunities & driving sales by planning and executing early-stage strategies for new client acquisition
- Attend conferences to promote product and services and expand broker network
- Gather and analyse industry and market intelligence to identify opportunities and trends
- Conduct insurance intermediaries training and presentations
What do you need?
- Prior experience in a similar sales/Business Development position
- Commercial understanding of the general insurance market, products and underwriting with market relationships (strongly desired)
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, forward thinking, results driven and bottom line focused
- A self-starter with a desire and the ability to develop constructive ideas and sales strategies
