About the Role :As a Business Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our growth and expansion efforts in the vibrant markets of Australia and New Zealand. This role encompasses various functions within the sales & marketing department, including Business Development, launch management, performance management and reporting, business planning and forecasting, and account management.
Key Responsibilities :Business Development
- Lead the development and execution of strategic Business Development plans to drive growth and achieve sales targets in the Australia & New Zealand markets.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand market presence and enhance revenue streams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and commercialization efforts.
Launch management:
- Create a project plan for new launch projects in alignment with different functions such as Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Medical, Sales and Operations and monitor implementation in alignment with these functions for Australia & New Zealand.
- Collaborate with the Country Manager in identifying appropriate external business partners where required.
Performance Management and reporting:
- Perform weekly / monthly reporting on sales performance for all Celltrion products and measure against forecast.
- Build and maintain a database of customer specific pricing and contract durations for all products and set up a customer relationship management system.
- Perform monthly reporting on sales force excellence and benchmarking of field force stats.
- Drive continuous process improvement to streamline commercial activities
- Price management per accounts/deals/affiliates
Business planning & forecasting:
- Create go-to-market models for new pipeline products under consideration of market conditions.
- Provide sales forecasting in alignment with different functions such as Marketing and Operations.
Account Management:
- Manage key customer accounts, including hospitals, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop account-specific strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets.
- 5 ~ 10 years of work experience in Business Development or Commercial roles within the Pharmaceutical Industry, with a focus on Key Account Management.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, SharePoint (SAP - preferred, not mandatory)
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry in Australia & New Zealand, including regulatory and reimbursement
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to breakdown concepts and formulate project initiatives
- Experience in project management including go-to-market models
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including active listening skills and expertise in negotiations
- Attention to detail, and an understanding to process and understand market and sales data
- Bachelor's Degree in any field, preferably bio-science related (not mandatory)
