As the BDM, you’ll be responsible for growing the market presence of Wirely across SA. As a young company with secured financial backing, this is an integral role that will drive sales growth in the SA hospitality industry. This role is full-time, will have the flexibility to work remotely and attracts a competitive salary.
About You
The role of the BDM is to build and develop relationships with vibrant hospitality businesses in SA and to help them manage their cash flow quickly and easily.
You’re passionate about the hospitality or F&B industry and have a pragmatic approach to growing business presence. You have exceptional influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution expertise and have a reputation for over-achieving quota by growing revenues in existing clients as well as penetrating new accounts. Through your extensive network you will open doors to generate new business and will lead the growth and development in SA. You are a strong analytical thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and has exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with new and existing clients within SA
- Have a clear understanding of the hospitality industry and create compelling client proposals and presentations.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
- Accelerate client adoption through education and engagement
- Work closely with clients to help them fully optimise the platform and provide performance improvement solutions when required
- Effectively account manage the SA portfolio and renew and grow existing client spend
- Lead the growth and development of a growing team
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales
- Conduct daily sales calls and arranging site inspections
- Compile and analyse sales data to help evolve strategy and future sales growth
What we are looking for:
- Prior experience and established networks in hospitality or food/beverage industry is essential.
- Minimum 3 years in an Account Management / BDM / Sales Consultant role is highly desirable.
- Experience with the complete sales cycle, from canvassing new business, presenting proposals and closing deals
- proven record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Excellent communication, written and networking skills to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles, service standards and operational cost control
