Situated in Sydney’s West the Club is a destination boasting 2 restaurants, American style food eatery & bar, café, 7 bars, Rugby League stadium, family centre – Go Bannanas, 119 room 4-star hotel and a conference & event centre featuring the most modern in technology.
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and will prospect new business for hotel accommodation and conferences & events.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Manager, your role will be to maintain relationships with our existing clients and generate new clientele for our business.
You will be required to:
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities to ensure successful achievement of targets.
- Negotiate with key accounts and specific key market segments on a local and national basis.
- Establish a high profile across the corporate market segments by maintaining excellent relationship with clients via sales call patterns and regular communication.
- Maintain a comprehensive level of property product knowledge and actively sell all attributes of the Hotel & Club including Conference facilities and Food and Beverage features.
- Account management of account portfolio
- Prospecting new business opportunities
- Conduct site inspections and client entertainment both on and off property
- Attend Trade shows and networking events.
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar role within the Hotel/travel/tourism and conference & event market
- Impeccable communication and influencing skills.
- A proactive, goal driven mindset.
- Be available to work some weekends, in line with events and marketing activities.
