About the Role:
As part of our strategic growth plan, an exciting opportunity awaits a dynamic Business Development Officer to join our accomplished Business Development Team based in Newcastle. Our ideal candidate will have a background in a display home environment or similar experience within the building industry. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing inbound enquiries and associated processes
- Identifying and establishing new business opportunities
- Conducting outbound calls to drive growth across diverse markets
- Monitoring and securing growth opportunities
- Contacting leads and supporting the Business Development Manager in coordinating and facilitating meetings with new business prospects
- Contributing to the implementation of our strategic growth strategy by achieving set targets and objectives
- Continuous development of client relationships and ongoing maintenance of business connections
- Ensuring the accuracy of our CRM database and customer accounts
About You:
We welcome applications from individuals whose demonstrated experience reflects an understanding of the demands of a rapidly growing business. Our preferred candidate ideally possesses:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate and foster collaborative relationships
- Proactive approach to opening new Business Development opportunities
- Proficiency in computing, including MS Office products, with an aptitude for learning new systems
- Dedication to delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse clientele
- Strong personal organizational skills, including the ability to work under tight deadlines, manage competing demands, and demonstrate commitment to daily work outputs
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Current driver's license and legal work rights in Australia
- Experience in a display home environment and similar roles within the building industry
