About the position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Officer to join our Business Development team for a 12 month period.
This is a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution and the completion of projects across the organisation.The Business Development Project Officer will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of new funding opportunities and various projects in line with the vision and priorities of the GPH Strategic Plan and collaborating with stakeholders within and external to GPH.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be self-directed and motivated and have the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Based in Canberra, this is a full-time (38 hours per week), temporary position. Full-time positions have the option for a Rostered Day Off each month.
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as in business, health, social sciences and/or relevant experience
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills including previous experience preparing funding submissions and developing executive level reports
- Project management experience and sound organisational capability to work effectively across multiple tenders, projects and tasks
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills including the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
