The Business Development Partner - Programmatic sits within the Media Sales team, which sits within the Customer Group function. Working alongside the Media Sales team, they contribute to Media revenue by monetising REA Group’s ad inventory via programmatic channels. What the role is all about
The Business Development Partner - Programmatic plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) and Private Marketplace (PMP) channels. We are looking for a sales gun who can deliver growth in ad revenue from programmatic buyers nationally. You will have a strong industry presence to build and maintain genuine relationships with media agencies, programmatic trading desks and direct buyers. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of the programmatic landscape and hunter mindset to build and convert sales pipeline opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Duties:
- Proactively seek out PG and PMP revenue opportunities and work closely with Media Sales to develop and execute sales strategies to exceed sales targets
- Establish a strong presence in market and foster industry relationships with media agencies, programmatic trading desks, direct buyers and platform partners
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with a focus on converting leads into confirmed bookings
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including Programmatic Operations, Tech, Product and Media Sales to align on partner responses and deliver integrated solutions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market news to inform business and sales strategies
- Creating and presenting sales decks and brief responses
- In addition, applicants with on the tools experience setting up deals, reporting, troubleshooting will be strongly considered for this role!
- 5+ years demonstrated programmatic sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills with established media agency and programmatic trading desk connections
- In depth knowledge of the programmatic landscape and familarity with ad tech platforms including DSPs and SSPs
- Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
