Job description
In the role of Business Improvement Officer, you will manage or assist in the management of service delivery projects in accordance with best practice project management principles. You will also contribute to and be actively involved in business process improvement initiatives within Customer Services Branch.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and participate in the development and implementation of service delivery projects and innovative Business Improvement initiatives.
* Prepare or assist in the preparation of business cases, requirements specifications, project briefs, plans, reports and recommendations.
* Assist in the preparation and evaluation of business proposals and options.
* Support the implementation of change management strategies.
* Gather, interpret and document business requirements, rules, specifications and processes.
* Initiate, plan and prioritise work goals and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
What you will need to have:
* Evidenced ability to build and maintain strong, working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve effective business outcomes.
* Qualifications in Project Management - for example, PRINCE2 Practitioner/Foundation, diploma, certificate or similar are desirable.
* Qualifications or experience applying Lean in a service delivery organisation is desirable.
