About the Business Intelligence (BI) Administrator - what you'll be doing
Snooze are looking for a BI Administrator with a strong understanding of Business Intelligence and data analysis. The BI Administrator is responsible for the design, administration and maintenance of the Snooze data environment, providing technical and functional support and solutions for the Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and related applications.
Day-to-day
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the database and Business Intelligence environment, providing recommendations to the technology team.
- Maintain the Snooze BI and database environments including maintaining and monitoring database performance, database security, database backups, system updates / patches, data migration and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to design and implement efficient and scalable database and reporting solutions.
- Documenting database processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Create value for Snooze stakeholders by providing an awesome customer experience- Snooze’s mission.
- Travel as required.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in database or Business Intelligence administration.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, SSIS and SSAS.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and Informix would be preferred.
- Experience with the development of reports and dashboards in reporting tools such as Qlik Sense / QlikView or Power BI would be beneficial.
- Self-motivated, meticulous and professional approach.
