About the Role
Provide leadership and corporate support to the Board and operational staff of Red Lily Health Service. This will provide a sound platform for newly transitioned health services that join Red Lily Health under the Regionalisation Program to continue to provide primary health services in communities.
This role will form part of the leadership group of Red Lily Health Service and will require collaboration with Department heads as well as with the Transition Manager and the team. You will manage a small corporate team of five.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and procurement.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate and optimise growth objectives for the organisation.
- Ensure the effective delivery of risk management, internal audit and corporate governance functions to ensure compliance with legislated requirements, internal controls and applicable standards related to work, health and safety and certification standards.
- Implement and manage strategies for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report as required on all aspects of business performance, including development of KPIs and grant reporting for presentation to the executive team, the board and external stakeholders.
- Provide training, direction, support and resources to employees reporting to this position to enable completion of their duties and professional development.
- Foster a high-performance culture through team building and coaching.
- Other duties as required from time to time consistent with the level of the position.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
- Graduate level qualification related to Business Administration or similar.
- High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective networks with a range of internal and external stakeholders and interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of business administration functions such as finance, procurement, administration, infrastructure and human resource management including ability to respond to organisational changes.
- Demonstrated sound organisational and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, work effectively within a team and work under pressure to complete tasks within required timeframes.
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy skills, including, experience with the effective use of various office applications and databases.
- The ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and continually re-assess workflows and priorities.
- Demonstrated awareness, understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture.
- Willing to travel to all parts of the Red Lily jurisdiction (including flights in light aircraft).
- A satisfactorily Police check and a current Working with Children’s Card is mandatory for this position.
Desirable skills
- Experience in the Indigenous health sector.
- Work experience in the community-controlled sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of issues impacting on community life within an Aboriginal community.
