About You

The position of Business Projects Officer is responsible for coordinating and delivering improvements across the Planning and Development Services Group with a focus on innovation and automation.

You will be responsible for undertaking projects to improve service delivery.

About the team

The Business Services and Projects Team within the Planning Development Services Group provides business services support and delivers business improvement projects and initiatives. Driving operations effciency and effectiveness is our focus.

About the position

The Business Projects Officer position is responsible for the coordination and delivery of system and business process improvement projects across the Planning and Development services Group. They will analyse current processes, practices and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, and efficiency with a strong focus on innovation and automation. They will also be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, researching options, providing recommendations, managing projects and contributing to the design and delivery of solutions that meet stakeholder needs and add value to the business.

  • This is a permanent full-time position based in the heart of Toowoomba’s CBD.
  • The annual salary range for this position is $84,383.41 – 87,970.19 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
