Form of workOur boutique Chartered Accountant (CA) firm has an opportunity for a Business Services Intermediate Accountant. The role is based in our office located close to CBD, south of Perth. The firm provides compliance and advisory services to clients in varied industries and operates with paperless electronic work methods.

Annual Salary/Package:
Negotiable salary based on Qualifications & Experience
Duties for this role includes (but not limited to):
- Preparation of Financial Statements and income tax returns including companies, trusts, SMSF
- Preparation of Activity Statements
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC
- Up to date Taxation Law knowledge
- Liaise with clients in professional manner
- Providing taxation technical advice to SMEs, including GST, Division 7A, Personal Services Income, Capital Gains Tax and other areas
- Supervision of Staff & Wofkflow management
- Complete work on time and allocated budge
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Minimum 3 + years of experience in Business Services Accounting in Australia
- CA/CPA qualified
- Fluent in various accounting software including Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks
- XPM knowledge an advantage
- Great Attention to detail with high accuracy of work
- Must have excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a small office environment and manage deadlines
- Be a team player
