DNA Recruitment is collaborating with a highly successful accounting firm, currently in search of a Business Services Manager to join their dynamic team. They are specifically seeking an individual with a strong background in tax and compliance with substantial experience in team management. They take pride in delivering exceptional accounting and advisory services to Medical and Allied Health professionals.
This is an office based role located in Hawthorn and while other companies may offer remote work options, this firm believes in collaboration for ideas to flourish, and camaraderie is second to none.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on tax planning, compliance, and financial reporting
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and implement best practices
- Preparing comprehensive financial reports
- Support and train accounting team, conducting weekly WIP meetings and staff performance reviews annually
- Effective management of the lodgement programme
- Review completed files and report monthly to Partners
- Preparation of financial accounts, income tax, SAS and IAS as needed
About you:
- Minimum 8+ years of Australian experience in public practice
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage teams, budgets, and partnerships, which foster alignment and drive results.
- Sharp analytical mind to dissect financial data and provide strategic advice
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organisational and time management capability.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and handling client interactions expertly
- Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations, team and client needs and industry trends
