Hear and Say is a Queensland wide provider of speech pathology and audiology services. We operate state-wide and support people of all ages - from newborn babies, to toddlers, school-age children, and adults.
An exceptional opportunity currently exists for a suitably experienced and motivated individual to join us in the permanent part-time role (22.8 hours per week) of Business Support Administrator.
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, this role will provide a wide variety and high standard of administrative and reception functions to contribute to the best possible experience for our families receiving clinical services, and to ensure the experience is seamless.
As the ‘voice’ and ‘face’ of Ashgrove Hear and Say centre, you will provide professional and timely communication, advice and support to families, visitors and other external clients either face-to-face, over the telephone or via email; rectify issues and provide suitable solutions, maintain the general tidiness of the public areas and provide support to the Business Support Team in other centres.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated administration experience in ideally either a health-related industry, disability, or the not-for-profit sector (exposure to NDIS will be highly desirable), coupled with high motivation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team or autonomously. You will also possess:
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a busy and dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in working with practice management software (preferably Genie) is essential.
- Excellence in customer service, meticulous attention to detail as well as effective time management, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines with high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), patient management software and administration of Medicare and NDIS accounts.
- A willingness to learn, to take ownership of work, a high level of initiative, integrity and confidentiality and possession of a professional and respectful work ethic.
Mandatory requirements of this role include-
- Eligibility to clear probity checks including disability worker screening and working with children check (Blue Card / Yellow Card).
- Criminal history check clear of dishonest type offenses.
