The purpose of the role is to assist the Business with Administrative functions as a Business Support assistant. Your role will include
- Administration support to staff and management.
- Reception
- Rostering
- Processing of accounts an petty cash.
- Resident enquiries and admissions
- Complete facility induction with new staff and volunteers.
- Liaise with external contractors.
- Housekeeping duties and responsibilities.
- Monitor state of communal environment and specialist areas.
- Complete environmental, equipment, safety and other audits.
To be successful in your application, you need to be highly organised and can demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
You must have a positive and helpful approach to customer service.
You need the ability to be adaptable to using different computer systems and dealing with multiple matters at any one time.
Moreover, you must have a “Can Do” attitude which means you are willing to turn your hand to anything from networking with clients and stakeholders, booking and taking prospective residents on tours to assisting residents.
Essential
- Certificate 3 in Business Management or similar qualification or working towards or equivalent experience.
- An advanced level of proficiency in Business English is required, along with a good level of computer literacy.
- Be highly organised and possess the ability to multi-task.
- Effective time management skills and an understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent presentation
- Work well in a team environment.
- Professional and confident communication skills.
- Reliable and Punctual
- Current Police Clearance
Desirable:
- Current or previous experience in Aged Care.
