The City’s Infrastructure Delivery team designs, builds and maintains world class infrastructure to support our community vision. This includes the management of multi-million-dollar works on our roads, footways, public lighting, street furniture and stormwater drainage networks.
We need a dynamic, motivated and organised office manager to take charge of the daily operations of our large, multi-disciplinary teams.
In this exciting and challenging role you will:
- provide critical support to people managers to ensure deadlines are met
- mentor a small team to ensure consistent and effective Business Support is provided across the section
- build networks with and influence a wide range of people to achieve identified goals in tight timeframes
- exercise your professional expertise to review, refine and implement improvements to our business systems and processes
- coordinate training requirements and team events to support team operations
- have autonomy to structure your day to deliver required outcomes.
The right person for the role will:
- be able to quickly interpret information and incoming requests to coordinate accurate responses from the right people
- see problems as opportunities and actively look for ways to improve processes
- be a confident decision-maker
- enjoy working with a diverse range of people managers and workers in an operational environment.
