Business Support Officer
The Business Development team assists with achieving the department’s objectives for the community by ensuring there is a pipeline of projects being investigated or progressed to a business case, to ensure the sustainability of Department’s business model. These projects could include large complex urban sites which facilitate renewal; regional residential projects which respond to community need; industrial activities which generate on-going employment opportunities, and infrastructure projects which activate further development.
- 6 month contract with possible 1 x 6 month extension

As the Business Support Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Operate with a high level of autonomy, whilst providing an effective, accurate and efficient standard of project and administrative support services to the Department.
- Management and maintenance of the Executive Director’s diary and inbox.
- Processing invoices and ensuring timely payments for the team whilst maintaining vendor records and assisting with financial reporting.
- Reconcile Senior Management corporate credit card expenditure and raise purchase orders, where required.
- Actively participate in the procurement process and contract management in relation to agreements, products and/or services relating to projects within Business Development.
- Assist in arranging meetings, conference and appointments for the Executive and the team as required.
- Provide meeting support, including equipment and facilities support for a broad range of business meetings.
- Become the subject matter expert for TRIM requirements. Maintain efficient records management, filing and information retrieval systems. Register, track and file all incoming and outgoing correspondence as required.
- Provide HR support, including managing the onboarding of new team members, coordination of staff training development opportunities and booking travel.
- Prioritizing tasks while allowing flexibility for urgent requests.
- Actively participate in a team environment and support a positive culture, through administration and in particular project coordination which ensures the smooth running of the Department's office.
