Business Support Officer

Our government client is looking for a Business Support Officer to join their team in Rockhampton for a short-term contract. This key role will see you provide efficient and high standard customer service to their clients.

 
As the Business Support Officer, some of the key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.
• Working within a fast-paced environment against KPI’s
• Connecting and maintaining relationships with industry, local suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
• Maintaining high standard of data management accuracy.
• Ad hoc admin duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous customer service and/or administration experience.
• Ability to meet KPI’s.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team.
• High standard of data entry with speed and attention to detail being a crucial requirement.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
