The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their team working in our Mothers, Women's and Babies Team on a permanent, full time basis.
Salary range: $35.45 - $39.62 per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging
What you'll be doing
- Diary management
- Assist with meetings / huddles
- Review and support the preparation of reports
- Maintain and support areas specific spreadsheets / databases / calendar
- Assist with preparation of correspondence and distribution
- Updating databases / systems for departmental use
- Coordination of jobs including follow up outstanding requests
- Lodgement of recruitment requests in Page Up
- Assist with preparation of Interviews
- Updating Kronos with shifts, sick leave, on call, leave requests, etc.
To be successful in this role you will meet the following in the following:
- Maintain a high level of confidentially of both personal and financials within the business
- Maintains up to date knowledge on procedures and policies of the work area/s
- Ensure effective, accurate and timely communication with staff and clients, communicating with professionalism, sensitivity and discretion
- Ensure accurate data entry using appropriate electronic systems
- Exercise judgement and initiative within define procedures, precedents, guidelines and instructions
- Maintain a safe working environment complying with Workplace Health and Safety and anti-discrimination policies
- Support and assist other team members within the business as required
- Comply with and adhere to Mater Health Services and the private practice policies, procedures, standards and legislation relevant to the role and business unit
