Reporting directly into the Consulting Practice Director, you will be working as part of a diverse team of talented professionals and subject matter experts.

What’ll you do
- Work across many facets of business analysis, including requirements gathering, options analysis, process mapping, workshop facilitation, showcasing, working closely with development and change teams through project delivery and benefits analysis and management.
- Provide business support for information systems change, testing and enhancements to various information systems to ensure they meet business requirements and operational capability.
- Prepare and contribute to the preparation of timely and well researched system requirement documents, briefs, reports, plans and correspondence in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Negotiate, build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in relations to system requirements and enhancement to support the delivery of quality services.
What you’ve got
- Demonstrated experience in the development of systems analysis and business analysis artefacts to support software development
- Ability to work in a dynamic Agile environment
- Great technical problem solving skills and experience
- Experience in the writing of technical documents
- Experience in writing details system requirements as either system specifications documents or user story format
- Highly developed verbal and written communications skills, including demonstrated ability to maintain productive working relationships and to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders to reach agreement on complex matters
- Well developed leadership and people management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships through consultation and sharing of information.
Desirables
- Experience in JIRA or Azure DevOps and Agile
- Experience with Big Data Technologies
- Experience on projects using some or all of Elastic, Kibana, Neo4j, HBase, Hadoop or Nifi
- Experience with database technologies including SQL, data mapping and ETL projects
- Experience with Services Oriented Architecture

Qualifications
- Tertiary ICT qualifications or equivalent/demonstrate experience are highly regarded.
- Experience working in the National Intelligence Community, National Security Agencies, Defence or Policing Agencies would be highly desirable.
