The Role

Community Solutions are currently seeking individuals who share our company values and have a passion to enter the Business Industry. Based in Cannon Hill, this 12-month Business Administration Traineeship will be within the Credit team performing administration/finance support.

Typical Duties:

  • Data Entry
  • Assist in providing support to manage accounts
  • Database Control
  • Invoicing, Credit Notes, and processing of journals
  • Internal/external customer service including liaise with clients via phone/email

The Team

The trainee will be placed with our host, The Endeavour Foundation. An organisation where people are working together, making possibilities a reality for people with a disability.

With over 5,000 staff operating over 300 sites in the heart of local communities across Queensland and New South Wales and Victoria, the Endeavour Foundation offers choice, opportunities and personalised support in the key areas of home, work, learning and community participation.

This position will offer a wealth of knowledge to build a foundation for an aspiring business professional, plus the advantage of working in a supportive team environment with a dedicated Community Solutions Field Representative who will guide you through obtaining your Cert III in Business.

What will you bring to the role?

Our team will help you develop during the traineeship, but there are some minimum requirements and key traits we’re looking for:

  • An aspiration to work in business
  • An eye for detail with the ability to follow directions well
  • A confident, friendly nature – you’ll enjoy talking to people and be a great communicator
  • Internal customer service and liaise with other departments within Endeavour
  • Understand the importance of client privacy
  • Basic experience with accounting software
  • Has a natural ability to pick up systems quickly
  • Accounting subjects studied is highly regarded
  • A good aptitude with maths
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday full time
  • Pass a Police Check
  • Provide two references
  • Successful candidates will participate in a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test

Who We Are?

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
