This full-time opportunity will be responsible for the end to end curation and retail implementation of your category under the leadership and guidance of a Senior Buyer, ensuring sales and profit are optimised.
In this hands-on role, your primary responsibilities will include:
Range strategy to deliver sales and profit
Manage the full product development cycle for Diamond Fashion category
Financial management of category to achieve margin targets
Maintaining and developing multiple supplier relationships and ensuring supplier delivery against KPIs
Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams
Ideally you will be able to showcase:
Driven by creative product development with an eye for detail
Strong trend and market awareness
High level of commercial acumen
Buying and Product Development background (while having jewellery experience is ideal, it isn’t a necessity)
Experience in a retail head office in a Buying role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Ability to work proactively in a team environment with a flexible, can do attitude
