Who We Are
Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) provider, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Skytrans, a renowned regional airline in Queensland. As part of our expansion into the Australian market, we are set to introduce jet operations, starting with the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. This will be in addition to our well-established Dash 8 and Caravan operation, servicing remote and regional Queensland as well as the Torres Strait.
Who You Are
You are a skilled and experienced aviation Training Manager with deep knowledge of cabin and flight crew training requirements. With excellent leadership abilities, you are proficient in designing and implementing effective training programs. Your strong communication skills enable you to manage teams effectively and ensure high standards of training compliance.
What You Will Do
Reporting directly to the Cabin Crew Manager, you will undertake significant responsibilities including:
• Overseeing the training programs for all cabin and relevant flight crew members, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and regulations.
• Managing and ensuring the accuracy and timely distribution of training documentation to Crew Training Coordinators.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and qualification among Ground Instructors and Line Trainers, ensuring they are well-versed in the aircraft types and procedures they teach.
• Collaborating with the Crew Training Coordinator and Crew Planning to prepare and organise various training plans and instructor meetings.
• Addressing and reporting any training progression issues to the Head of Training and Checking, Cabin Crew Manager, and Head of Flight Operations.
• Performing as a Ground Instructor or Line Trainer and assuming duties of Cabin Supervisor or Cabin Crew Member as required.
Minimum Requirements
• Extensive experience in managing cabin and flight crew training within the aviation industry.
• Strong familiarity with aviation safety regulations and the ability to implement training programs in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage educational teams in a dynamic environment.
Desirable
• Experience in developing and revising training curricula tailored to operational requirements.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within aviation training.
