About The Role
The Cabinet Assembly Line Team Leader position is a proactive, on-the-ground role within the Assembly team, engaging directly with Assembly Lines and drilling equipment while also guiding and aiding team members. The key responsibilities in this role are;
- Coordinate with the Production Office, Machining, and Quality Control/Packing departments to ensure the prompt provision of components and cabinets.
- Meet production goals (number of cabinets assembled and machine usage targets
- Ensure that the cabinets meet the necessary standards for quality and are finished according to the specifications outlined in the order. Every team member inspects and stamps each cabinet to ensure compliance.
- Fulfil daily quality documentation and production reporting obligations and submit these to the supervisor at the shift's end.
- Providing thorough training and fostering multitasking skills among the team.
What Makes You Perfect For The Role
- Preference for candidates with trade qualifications in cabinet making or a related field, though not mandatory.
- At least two years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally in a medium-sized cabinet making or component production environment (either wood or metal).
- Minimum of two years of experience in assembling cabinets, operating CNC drilling machines, or working with similar equipment.
- Proficient in the use of factory hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Skilled in accurately interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
