About The Role:
We currently have two Campus Services, Asset Protection and Security Contract Administrator positions available. These roles are key members of the Campus Operations team, providing support to the Coordinator Campus Services, Asset Protection and Security managing all aspects of contracts and agreements for Campus Services. The role involves ensuring that contracts are accurately drafted, executed, and administered in compliance with legal and government requirements, and in line with Bendigo Kangan Institute policies.
The role will work closely with various departments including Governance Risk and Compliance, Procurement, Finance and Operations, to facilitate efficient contract management and fulfillment. A key part of the role will involve supporting and facilitating go-to-market activities, contract management and supplier performance monitoring aligning with Victorian Government Standing Directions. The role will oversee contractors and ensure key compliance and site management is achieved, along with delivery of minor projects and maintenance.
We are excited about you because you have:
- Experience and understanding of Contract Management fundamentals and demonstrated experience establishing, monitoring and managing supplier contracts
- Strong understanding of Victorian Government Procurement Board (VGPB) policies, Ministerial Directions for Public Construction, Local Jobs, Fair Jobs code and other relevant government standing directions and requirements related to contract administration and project delivery
- Demonstrated experience in developing effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels in the private and public sectors
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to deal sensitively with suppliers
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and high work ethic
- Demonstrated legal and contractual understanding

- Demonstrated experience delivering or supervising projects (desirable)
