Job Essentials 
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the Capital Accountant is responsible for the accounting of all capital expenditure across the business in line with our Purpose, Vision, Strategy and values. This will include owning and maintaining the end-to-end processes in Yardi’s Construction Manager module. Ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of capital processing across multiple departments. 

In particular, the role will be accountable for Coordinating the status of capital works jobs to ensure timely month end reporting for actual capital spend and forecast future capital spend. Collaborate with Accounts Payable to manage invoice, work order and capital spend queries.

Manage the capital budget and forecast, ensuring accurate allocation and cost control as well as the Fixed asset ledger integrity and the end to end fixed asset process including creation of assets, depreciation and reconciliation of fixed asset register.

Develop and provide regular reporting based on requirements of the Finance and Investment Management teams
