About the role
Manage the Business Analysis and exploration activities performed by the Customer Experience Delivery team. Maintain the Initiative backlog ensuring work flows through the team at pace. Work with senior stakeholders across the business to agree on priorities, manage risk and dependencies.
Duties Include:
- Work closely with senior stakeholders in other teams to prioritise work, and to manage risks and dependencies
- Own and maintain the Initiative backlog – communicate the status of this backlog to stakeholders in and out of the team, perform high level discovery on items before being given to delivery teams, ensure prioritised items are ready for the team when needed
- Analyse high level ideas, understand them and give them to delivery teams in deliverable slices
- Collaborate across capabilities to ensure strong customer experience is achieved with strategic technical solutions
- Assign value to work, reflect on what value has been achieved once delivered – influence others in and out of the team to have a value mindset
- Define and track outcomes for the Customer Experience Delivery team
- Participate in the uplifting of BA practices in the wider BA community
- Contribute to maintenance of the overall health of the BA capability
- Collaborate to create and evolve the BA capability standards and methodology
- Train, coach and guide BAs within the team to increase their business analysis capability - be the authority on quality BA outcomes
- Ensuring agreed quality business analysis standards and met, managed and maintained
About You
- Previous BA experience in a commercial environment
- Excellent understanding of Agile SCRUM and Kanban
- Excellent communication skills, including influencing and negotiation
- Good technical knowledge to understand the right tools and techniques for each project and activity.
- Proven experience in complex problem solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
- Able to use a variety of techniques to achieve effective outcomes
