Form of workSanctuary Recruitment are supporting a leading not for profit aged care provider recruit an experienced Care Manager for one of it's large homes.
The recent changes within the management structure of this facility has left the team in a time of uncertainty, so our client needs a confident people leader who can quickly adapt to their environment but most importantly influence a positive team culture. The facility has recently passed accreditation, so it's main focus is creating that inspiring and uplifting environment for everyone.The Care Manager sits within an excellent management structure including Facility Manager, Care Manager, Clinical Care Coordinator and Operations Manager. The role takes the lead in all clinical aspects of the facility, working very closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator to ensure the highest standards of care is delivered to the residents and its families.
The role is based in the heart of Sydney's North West and is best accessed by car, parking is available for employees.
To be successful for this role, you must have:
- Registered Nurse - AHPRA registration,
- 2-3 years previous Care Management experience.
- Solid understanding of all Aged Care accreditation standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of all relevant legislation, ANACC, regulatory requirements and professional standards
- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to lead & mentor a team of RNs and care staff
- Exemplary communication and presentation skills.
