We are looking for a suitably qualified Complex Caretaker and Handyperson to manage the common areas and holiday let residences of a luxury boutique property in Noosa Heads. This person will take a customer service driven approach to managing all caretaking, cleaning and maintenance requirements of this small complex, meeting the high standards of our property owners and guests.
This role requires a professional and dedicated individual (or couple with Housekeeping experience considered) and can be a Part-Time or Full Time position, depending on the candidate.
Ideally, we are seeking a confident and technically minded tradesperson who is able to maintain the upkeep of this complex to the highest of standards; is calm and flexible, able to navigate schedule changes; works both, as a team and individually, in addition to communicates effectively.

The Position:
- Respond promptly to customer requests for maintenance assistance in order to meet our service demands and to minimise disruption to client operations.
- Complete all general maintenance and relevant repairs to a high standard at all times both within the residences and the complex common area.
- Undertake the cleaning of common areas including interiors and exterior spaces.
- Highlight preventative maintenance tasks and action rectification, working with Operations Co-Ordinator's.
- Overseeing and assisting housekeeping team in addition to responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintenance tasks include but are not limited to; minor plumbing, patch and paint, exterior cleans, fixture repairs, window and balcony cleans/pressure wash and property clean-up as necessary.
- Gardening and pool care, in addition to general complex cleaning, waste removal and irrigation management.
- Carry out property inspections to identify, report and action faults and items for repair.
- Assist with Reservations and Guest Service Team, including: raise and close off service requests and work orders, ensure apartments are ready for guest arrivals and work with trades to allow access and oversee task completion.
- No early starts or late finishes, some weekend work required.
- Niche offer quarterly Wellness activities and celebratory Team events throughout the year.
Minimum Criteria:
- Previous experience working in a maintenance/handyman/caretaking capacity.
- Experience in similar holiday letting property management or hospitality roles beneficial.
- Reside close to Noosa or Sunshine Beach - applicants that live more then 40 minutes away will not be considered.
- Experience identifying and procuring resources and materials required for maintenance tasks.
- Solid experience in WHS and ability to prepare risk assessments.
- Housekeeping experience an advantage, but not essential.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise to meet short deadlines.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of a reservation system (Resly) in order to produce reports and proficient use of computer systems - can be taught.
- Current Class C/Open Driver’s License.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Availability and flexibility across a 7 day roster.
