Case Worker

We are currently searching for an experienced and passionate Case Worker to work within an Child Protection/Disability specialist multi-state multidisciplinary organisation. The successful candidate will fit the criteria by working alongside the operational team with experience working with children and families effected by domestic violence and crisis situations. 

As a Social Worker in this position you will be a part for a not for profit organisation with a strong reputation within the industry. You will be building a high standard of client care, communication and assistance.

What this position includes:

• Provide leadership and management to all support staff
• Using different frameworks to guide and inform intervention work
• Ensure that the Team provides trauma informed therapeutic care to young people within a safe, clean and hygienic environment
• Manage positive relationships with all stakeholders
• Ensure the Team adheres to all reporting and documentation requirements
• Write Tailored Support Plans for young people
• Attend critical appointments with young people and facilitate/attend relevant Team and Stakeholder meetings
• Plan and conduct developmentally appropriate individual and group activities consistent with meeting the young people's needs and goals in line with Case Plans and Tailored Support Plans
• Contribute to efficient and comprehensive recruitment, induction, and training of new staff
• Implement principles and strategies to role model, mentor and teach young people necessary life skills

• Relevant degree qualification
• Experience working within a similar position
• Understanding and experience of the what the position requires listed above along with of the Australian State Acts
• Proven written and verbal communication skills of a high standard with relevant keyboard and computer/computer software skills
