We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Casual Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs across various properties.
• Address immediate operational and/or safety concerns.
• Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Liaise with external contractors when necessary.
• Provide timely reports on maintenance tasks and issues.

Reporting To: Maintenance & Asset Coordinator

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and general repair works.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high standards of safety and quality.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• Possess and maintain a current driver’s license.
• Possess and maintain a Working with Vulnerable People Card (NDIS endorsed)
• Possess and maintain a current industry First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
• Possess and maintain a current industry Provide CPR Certificate (HLTAID009).
