AddressAn opportunity exists at Doctors at Australia Fair, for a friendly, professional, and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our awesome team. We're looking for someone to work 15-30 hours per week on a casual basis, including a every second Saturday, with additional shifts available to back-fill permanent staff leave.
What we are looking for:
- Strong customer service skills
- Good organisational skills
- Superior multi-tasking skills and
- Confident computer skills.
Experience in a similar role within general practice is preferred.
You will be responsible for:
- Enhancing the image of the practice through your professional and friendly customer service approach.
- Helping shape the general front desk & administration duties
- Handling of incoming calls
- Delivery of premium customer service to our patients and clinicians alike
- Booking of GP and Allied Health appointments
- Receipting of Medicare, HICAPS & private billings
Demonstrated skills include:
• Experience with Best Practice (preferred)
• Experience in administration within a busy GP surgery (preferred)
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• Excellent customer service
• Friendly and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
