SH Recruitment is working exclusively with one of Australia’s leading childcare organisations, which requires an experienced, progressive and forward-thinking Senior Centre Director for its high-performing service based in the Inner Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
A beautifully designed service with all the modern amenities to make staffs life's enjoyable and efficient.
The company has created a unique place with large sun-drenched rooms and spacious outdoor areas, including hand-crafted cubby houses, forts, a soccer pitch and giant sandpits! This is truly a one-of-a-kind childcare service.
This position is:
- A 38-hour, full-time working week.

Interviews will be taking place throughout March / April 2024
Suitable applicants must have:
- Bachelor or diploma early childhood qualification
- Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- WWCC and or Victorian Institute of Teaching card.
- Right to work in Australia
- A minimum of 2-3 years Centre Director experience
You will also be required to:
- Report directly to your Area Manager and attend regular monthly meetings.

- Experience and knowledge of early childhood development and education.
- Effective time management skills
- An ability to communicate effectively with the Senior Management, parents, other staff and professionals.
- Ability to work cooperatively, flexibly, and professionally with children, parents, staff and Senior Management.
- Strong leadership and self-motivation skills
