Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Director to lead the team and ensure the smooth operation of this amazing childcare centre.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the centre staff, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment.
- Compliance: Ensure that the centre complies with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of dedicated educators and support staff.
- Program Development: Oversee the development and implementation of a high-quality curriculum that promotes children's learning and development.
- Parent Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring open communication and addressing their concerns.
- Financial Management: Manage the centre's budget effectively to ensure its financial sustainability.
- Safety and Wellbeing: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior leadership role in an early childhood education setting.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Assessed and Qualified)
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, state and local childcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Two days of wellbeing leave per year to promote work-life balance.
