The Space
The exotic greenery throughout Bang Bang’s indoor space flows to a relaxed outdoor courtyard looking over the local park. The redbrick building is bigger than it appears, 300 covers make for a busy, dynamic dining environment.
In winter we are cosy and inviting, in summer we open the doors and work in the sunshine. Our days involve engaging with the surrounding community as Bang Bang is a laid-back social hotspot with a bustling inner-city vibe.
The menu is influenced by Thai, Vietnamese, and other Southeast Asian cuisines with a French influence. Our food is fun and approachable and free to those who work with us!

- Demonstrates a positive and customer centric attitude
- Exposure to high end or fun-casual South East Asian venues is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to keep staff accountable
- Outstanding communication
- Ability to oversee and manage kitchen operations
- Passionate about creating new dishes and not shy to present those
Experience:
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Professionally cooking for at least 2 years
We are easily accessible by train or tram, located only a one-minute walk from Elsternwick Station. Free street parking is also available.
