Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Chef de Partie - Events role at The National Arboretum, Canberra. The Chef de Partie will collaborate with the Director, Head Chef, and vibrant kitchen team to create and prepare high-quality, innovative event menus and ensure service runs effectively.
Qualifications
- Cookery qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Experience in a high-volume event catering environment
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team to develop and prepare menus
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Full Australian work rights
- Available to work a rotating roster, including some nights and weekends
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with modern culinary techniques, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for food and hospitality.
