We have an exciting new opportunity at Spicers Clovelly Estate and our hatted restaurant The Long Apron for a full time Chef de Partie. You will be an integral part of delivering our dining experience to our guests, whether it be for a conference, leisure group or for our dining offering.

Located in Montville, the retreat is just over one hour from Brisbane and 30 minutes from Maroochydore. Set within the property, The Long Apron is not just a restaurant but a dining experience with a well-earned reputation for innovative dining experiences. The Long Apron is a Chef Hatted restaurant offering a taste of France in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Whether it's an intimate tasting menu of two or a group celebration, we take you on a gastronomic journey, epitomising culinary creativity, sharing our love of food and wine with you along the way.
Here's what you'll do
- Deliver our inhouse dining menu inspired by local ingredients, prepared utilising creative preparation techniques;
- Curating an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish;
- Leading your section during lunch and dinner service.
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role
- Chef trade qualification (essential);
- Previous experience as a Chef De Partie in a high end, fine dining or hatted environment (essential);
- Team player with a positive attitude;
- Ability to work across all sections of the kitchen and run your own section;
- Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays;
- Reliable vehicle to get to and from the retreat;
- A passion for people, food and wine.
