Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Pre-Prep through to Year 12, with a co-education Pre-Prep offering. The Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Chef Manager to join our Corporate Enterprise Team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will work Monday – Sunday between the operational hours of 6.00am – 8.00pm. Due to the nature of this position a degree of flexibility is required to meet event requirements outside of this spread of hours.
This position will commence as of 15 April 2024 (or as negotiated).
- Can you demonstrate great initiative and strong work ethic both autonomously and collaboratively?
- Do you have experience working in front and back of house food services?
- Do you have strong leadership experience to oversee all catering services and active participation in food preparation and execution?

It is a mandatory requirement for this position that you hold a Working with Children Paid Blue Card and a Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
