- About the Role:
As a Grill Chef, your primary responsibility is to skillfully operate the grilling station to ensure that the food is perfectly prepared and cooked.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables on a grill according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitoring grill temperatures and adjusting as necessary to ensure food is cooked properly.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the grill area, including regularly cleaning the grill surface and surrounding area.
- Training and supervising junior kitchen staff assigned to the grill station.
- Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Requirements:
Obtained Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a related qualification.
Two years minimum of experience as a Chef.
Deep proficiency with grilling methods.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
