Our client is seeking a Chemist- HPLC who displays initiative and is self-motivated. Reporting to the Product Development and Implementation Manager, this role will focus on the initial stage of product development.
You must be flexible to work across both the northern based site, as well as the city site.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Analysis of samples and products using HPLC and GC
- Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- General housekeeping duties
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Updating and writing of SOPs and other related documents
- A postgraduate degree in Chemistry.
- Prior laboratory experience using HPLC and GC
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A strong attention to detail
