Chief Executive Officer

Six Degrees Executive is thrilled to partner with Hepatitis Queensland (HQ) to assist the organisation in finding a skilled executive as their next Chief Executive Officer.

HQ is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the strategic management and delivery of services for individuals affected by hepatitis and liver disease across Queensland. They are committed to delivering high-quality programs, projects, and services in alignment with the organisation's values, legislative requirements, and strategic objectives. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, they strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals affected by hepatitis and liver disease in our community.

As CEO, you will provide leadership to HQ's staff, guiding them in their interactions and overseeing strategic and operational planning processes. Additionally, you will ensure operational excellence and lead the provision of high-quality projects, programs, and services to clients, managing HQ’s reputation among healthcare and government stakeholders.

You will act as a conduit between various internal departments and stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely communication. With a keen focus on legislative and regulatory compliance, and agreements, you will pay particular attention to quality expectations and safety requirements.

You will build upon a strong organisational culture, ensuring effective human resource management and maintaining strong governance and board functions within HQ. Furthermore, you will take responsibility for HQ's financial health and maintain effective information management systems.

In terms of representation, advocacy, media, and public relations, you will ensure effective representation of HQ across various platforms, engaging with government agencies, stakeholders, and the wider community.

This role requires a candidate with experience in leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare or not-for-profit sector, who can navigate complex organisational structures and drive positive change. Previous experience as a CEO in a similar organisation will be highly regarded, but not essential!
