What You Will Be Doing
Maternity leave contract commencing May 2024 for 12 months (possibility of ongoing employment beyond 12 months).
The Children's Services Speech Pathologists work in collaboration with other team members and wider health and community professionals to develop child and family- centred care plans. The Speech Pathologists undertake assessments and plan and implement therapy for young children (up to 6 years of age).
In addition to the clinical caseload, Grade 2 Speech Pathologists have opportunities to develop their clinical teaching and supervision skills.
All Children's Services Speech Pathologists receive high quality clinical and operational supervision, along with many opportunities for professional development.
A background (competency or working towards) in paediatric feeding services is desirable, as this role contributes to the service providing inpatient and outpatient feeding clinics at Frankston Hospital.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
(eligible for practicing membership of SPA)
• Skills and experience in assessment and interventions with children aged 0 - 6 years
• Feeding experience (desirable)

*Please refer to salary circular Victorian Public Health Sector (Allied Health Professionals), Single Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
