Seeking Civil Engineers responsible for providing engineering expertise in the design, equipment selection, and day-to-day management of tasks. DIDO and FIFO options available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, review, and approve civil calculations, design reports, and construction drawings.
- Provide expert engineering and design advice, ensuring compliance with project specifications for earthworks, concrete, and formwork structures.
- Assist in developing comprehensive scope of work documents for supplier and contractor engagements.
- Conduct constructability reviews during the design phase and communicate methodologies to project and construction teams.
- Coordinate the preparation of civil designs and drawings, aligning them with project schedules.
- Ensure Concrete and Structural QA/QC and Specifications meet design requirements and Australian Standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improvements in design, engineering, and work practices.
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager to oversee the overall schedule and address technical queries.
- Plan and schedule the project scope, including labour, equipment, and material deliveries.
- Manage package delivery, scheduling, and review/preparation of Inspection and Test Plans/Reports (ITPs/ITRs).
- Monitor and control the construction schedule, ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Follow up on the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Engineering/Construction Management for Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractors.
- Proven track record in delivering bulk earthworks, concrete packages, and diverse civil projects.
- Project Management Expertise: Construction site-based project engineering experience on both greenfields and brownfields projects.
- Demonstrated end-to-end project management for small to medium-sized projects.

- Successful track record in implementing effective and efficient delivery methods.
