Our Client located in Tom Price WA Mines, are looking for Civil Project Managers to join their team.
Work with a leading provider of construction and building services including concrete services, building construction, building maintenance and waste management for mining and commercial clients.
Duties Include:
- Responsible for overseeing major project works relating to civils, construction, concrete and earthworks in the Pilbara.
- This position will ensure the projects are delivered within budget, deadline and client expectations
- Facilitation of Project onsite kick off meetings including project statement, drivers, scope, timeline, success factors, risks, and the communication plan.
- Successfully build relationships and network to obtain new jobs and clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying potential growth opportunities.
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client, project team, planner, and management.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specifications and quality standards through regular quality inspections.
- Handling all issues that arise in a professional and prompt manner to ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Managing project risks and identifying critical issues not previously disclosed by uncovering customer needs.
- Compliance with KPI targets and requirements.
- Keep the leadership team informed about project status and addressing issues that may impact client relations.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated 3+ years relative experience in managing earthwork projects.
- Technical knowledge of construction, building and civils processes.
- Ability to successfully build relationships and network to obtain new jobs and clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying potential growth opportunities.
- Effective team leadership by displaying skillful communication, technical expertise, promotion of key business values and ability to mentor and coach employees.
- Experience building & maintaining key client relationships and good understanding of the clients’ site requirements, rules & regulations.
- Analytical skills – ability to process a variety of information, evaluate costs and benefits and solve complex problems.
- Team building skills to develop collaborative working relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in Project budgeting and advanced project reporting skills.
- Possesses a high level of communication skills and proven ability to negotiate effectively.
