About the Role:
As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a prominent minesite earthworks project for a blue chip mining client in the stunning south-west region of Western Australia. Drawing upon your expertise and experience, you will be responsible for project planning, execution, and ensuring successful project outcomes. Your leadership skills, technical knowledge, and dedication to safety will be instrumental in delivering the project to the highest standards as you lead the site team and manage the client interface. A wonderful remuneration package is on offer to the successful Project Manager including $160-190K Base + 11% Super and company vehicle. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of the minesite earthworks project, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to establish strong working relationships and drive project success.
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify and proactively manage risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Uphold strict safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed and address any project-related concerns.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager for civil contractors, with a proven track record in successfully delivering projects in Australia, NZ or UK.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Sound problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions and adapt to changing project conditions.
