YOUR ROLE 

It is a hybrid role and we are open to candidates from a number of states. Successful candidates will work from our office located in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. 

However, you will be required to work Monday to Friday Business Hours from 8.30 – 5.00PM (Perth Time). Your IAG journey commences with a comprehensive, induction training (fully paid).

An exciting opportunity for a Property Claims Consultant to join the CGU Business Partner Claims Team. The Role will be based in Western Australia on a full-time permanent basis managing Business Partner Home & Landlord Claims. A Claims Consultant is the core of our claims experience and everything they do has the potential to make things better for our customers. Our consultants need to be available to assist our customers in their time of need creating closer relationships, being braver in exploring the best options for our customers and be able to work fast and efficiently to ensure a smooth and seamless claims process.
Please note: To work from home, you will need high speed internet connection and a private home office set up. Hybrid/WFH work arrangements apply after the initial training period.
 
ABOUT YOU 
To be success you’ll demonstrate the following:
•    Understanding and sound knowledge of claims management and settlement
•    Experience in the successful settlement of claims requiring significant negotiation
•    Capability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    ability to actively listen and problem solve effectively
•    Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
