Claims Consultant

Due to the growth of our client's business, we are recruiting for a Claims Consultant to join their experienced team and manage their own portfolio. Our client is a brokerage of experienced insurance professionals with a strong belief in the value of exceptional customer service. Specialists in risk and insurance solutions for their clients, with a wide variety of services offered across both commercial and domestic insurance.

You will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of claims, primarily across motor, plant and machinery, strata, business pack and ISR from inception to finalisation, working collaboratively with the team and supporting each other.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for a portfolio of brokered claims primarily across motor, plant and machinery, strata, business pack and ISR from inception to finalisation with autonomy and efficiency
• Provide information and responses in a timely manner to all stakeholders involved (eg; underwriter, claimant, solicitors, loss adjusters etc.)
• Raise all claim payments in a timely and accurate manner on system
• Ensuring and crafting responsive, decisive and strategic correspondence to insurers and/or third parties
• Develop and maintain strong relationships and build partnerships
• Provide an outstanding and efficient service to all customers
  

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous claims experience, ideally across business pack, motor, plant and machinery
• Passionate about claims advocacy and be familiar with policy triggers and exclusions
• The ability to build strong client relationships and maintain good client retention
• A willingness to learn and be flexible in a growing and innovative environment
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Enjoy being part of a team and contributing to a positive culture
